Thinking of buying the Fox T2 HDR

I've been using the Humax Foxsat HDR (modified) for some time now.

Modified version allows us to watch the recorded stuff through the network onto anything that can play the .ts files though installed samba or twonky (apart from the copyright HD stuff)

My question is, does the Fox T2 HDR allow this with the modified software, how much of a copyright issue is their with this machine, will it allow us to stream recordings to other devices without any issues ?

Many thanks

The HDR-FOX has streaming capability unmodified, particularly StDef although it will stream HiDef to another Humax - eg HD-FOX.

The mods unlock even more potential, decrypting the recorded content for example (ALL recordings are encrypted on the disk, but it has to be persuaded to decrypt the HiDef ones).

If you look in the Wiki (link at top of screen) there is a feature list. For a description of the ins and outs see Black Hole's Trail Guide (pinned topic).
