Transfer from HDR Fox T2 to FVP5000T

If I copy recorded programmes from my HDR on a USB stick will they then play on my newer FVP5000T? Includes Hi-Def.

You asked that in an almost identical thread about 3 weeks ago. The answer is still the same.
You could of course just try it with a couple of short recordings.
