I tried to access the TV Portal tonight and got this; it was working a few nights ago:

The TV sound continued underneath.
 
It's back, after a reboot (and a very long time waiting for the portal to come up). When it did, I got a notice that the Picasa service is being withdrawn (as if I ever used it).
 
Picasa has been 'dropped' by Google. I use it on my PC and have found it very useful over the years.
 
I got the same message on both my HDR Fox-T2s last night. Each is connected to the internet via a dedicated Mac Airport Express router - I loaded the latest firmware update for these yesterday and was wondering if that was the cause. Looks like I was barking up a coincidental, red herring however. Anyway, both eventually connected today after reboots.
