Unable to modify 'About Me' in Personal Details

Title says it all, I think. I've tried to save changes several times, and although they show up as changed next time I go into Personal Details, they aren't reflected in forum posts.
 
Can you give a bit more information about what you have tried to change, and what you expect to see in your forum posts?
 
Sorry, Brian - I now see that it was Signature that I should have been editing. The fact that what I had typed into 'About Me' and 'Signature' started out the same was what threw me.
