Update to HDR_FOX_T2_1.03.12_mod_3.00 is causing problems

I upgraded today and now am told the humax has crashed and I should view the crash log. This conatins one line saying the humax crashed. The first warning said that some packages may have been prevented from running.

When I access it I get a message saying that webif has been upgraded to 1.0.18-3 which I acknowledge.

On the diag page I see that all logs have an X in a red circle against them now.

When I access the tv portal all I get now is the basic humax portal.

Rather than make more of a mess, can I obtain guidance to repair the system?
 
The only real problem I see in all that is the TV Portal: if this is your first dip into 1.03.xx territory you have to be aware that the portal-xtra1 package is not compatible with the new browser implementation and must be removed. You can use new-portal instead.

The only other thing you might need to do is run the fix-flash-packages diagnostic.
 
portal-xtra1 package was not installed so I selected to install new-portal but get this error:

Following a re-boot the tv portal button brings up the TV apps, not the portal.

Will it be ok to clear all logs? Will they not be needed?

A further attempt to install portal-xtra1 still gets the same error.

Edit: custom-portal was not installed either.

It looks like you are getting a report saying that there are remnants of earlier Custom TV Portals that are stopping the new one being installed, you can clear this away by going to Web-If >> Diagnostics >> Run Diagnostic >> remove_portals >> Run. After you have done this try installing new-portal again from the Package Management >> Available screen
