Upgrading Humax Firmware from 1.02.32 to 1.03.12

My apologies if this information is already available, I have spent several hours searching without success.

Box Currently running Loader
Hummy 2: 1.02.32 (kernel HDR_CFW_3.00) a7.30

Can I update this to "1.03.12 (kernel HDR_CFW_3.03)" and then use "HDR_FOX_T2_1.03.12_mod_3.03"
I am prompted to ask this as I recently purchased a spare Hummy on ebay with "HDR_FOX_T2_1.03.12_mod_3.03" which based on its serial number is older than my Hummy 2 which I conclude to be a re-manufactured Hummy

All varieties of custom firmware from 3 onwards load the complete flash image, so you can install whatever you like (but I don't understand exactly what you are getting at).

There is no reason not to use the latest CF revision; whether you couple that with 1.02.32 or 1.03.12 depends on your priorities (see Things Every... - click section 1 for differences).
