USB ports on HDR

What can you use these for ? Can play contents on tv

- Update the operating system
- Connect a drive full of mp4 or ts files and show them on the TV
- Connect a wireless dongle for network access
- Charge the battery in my toy helicopter

Archive recorded content to usb (and replay from there) if your hdd is short of space, Copy SD content to a PC for playback or burning to DVD (same for HD if recorded using non-freesat), uploading non native video if of compatible format (AV2HDR) required. Playback or uploading MP3 audio and JPEG photographs.

Install the custom firmware (also Humax official updates).

This is the Foxsat HDR thread, not the HDR Fox T2. I think it just about manage the first and last of your suggestions though.
