Usernname & Password for Web Interface?

I’m setting up my parents HDR T2 after moving house. I installed custom firmware on it a few years ago, but I’m now having trouble logging into the Web Interface. I’ve entered the IP address as per the Humax’s LAN settings, but it’s asking for a Username and Password. No idea what these are! Where would I have set this up? Is it possible to reset it?

There shouldn't be a username and password unless you've turned on security.

use Telnet to access the maintenance console (Telnet menu) and use the preset option to remove WebIF password.

Thanks. Managed to remove PW with Telnet and now have access to the web interface.

When I try and register the machine to my RS account (I have two machines at home already registered) I get this message:

Are all packages up to date?

Is error repeatable, "database table is locked" is often transitory

I've tried several times and got the same message.

I'm getting messages similar to this when I ntry and update some of the packages:

Try opkg install --force-reinstall libutil

Probably because the version you have is ancient.
What version of CF do you have installed? If that is ancient then update that first.

Fix the first error first.

Just got around to looking at this.

opkg install --force-reinstall libutil

"Cannot install package libutil"

I've resinsalled CFW 1.03.12 mod 3.13 but still not able to update or install packages?

Try opkg install --force-reinstall libpcre instead.

Can you ping hpkg.tv successfully from the Humax? Did you do opkg update first?

Ping seems sucessful "64 bytes from 89.248.55.75: seq=0 ttl=245 time 32.582" etc
