Using a USB wireless dongle and hard drive at same time?

Sorry if this has been discussed before. I have ordered a HD FOX T2 for my dad and have also ordered a portable USB hard drive. I have an Edimax EW-771UAN wireless dongle spare and plan to give it to him as well. However as the box has only 1 USB port is it possible to have a hard drive and dongle connected at same time using a USB hub?

Yes but the Humax can be a bit sniffy about which hubs it will work with.

I use a belkin ipod dock / usb hub with a 2TB hard drive and the same wireless adapter. Works perfectly!
