Vandalism and Police

Quite a few posts and not one tackling the obvious cause for the increasing vandalism.
The police have vanished off the streets. WTF are they making me pay for them?

PCSOs used to patrol on foot or bicycle regularly in my area. Not any more. Occasionally seen in small police cars (minus blue lights). Even the police stations have moved. My nearest one has changed from being a large one in the town centre to a small presence in the local fire station (that has had one pump removed - cutbacks). The fire station is positioned for responding to fire/rescue incidents not for easy public access, rendering it useless as a police station. Both police and fire added 5.1% to their charges this year.

Multiply your experience by every town in the country and you have the real situation in the whole UK. Time to start from scratch and pay handsomely new forces on the very principles of Peel. Let's see who is going to pay for the current forces who are checking what people say on twitter and cruise around like their american counterparts.
