webif displaying junk

My webif has stopped working. Afaik I've not changed anything. When I enter the ip address of the box...

http://192.168.1.70 or http://192.168.1.70/index.jim


I get responses similar to:

’6EüœQ"¼GïÍiZBò
ÙÞdZ6÷éNz^#´~’“Ô,B–æ2\yqH›Áþל]êÓh¹

Any suggestions?

That's a new one!
Can you get onto the box via telnet (See http://wiki.hummy.tv/wiki/Telnet), get to the command line (cli option) and run:

head /mod/webif/html/index.jim

?

Ah! I'm sorry!

When I wasn't able to telnet I knew there was more wrong than webif. After a little digging I found that my router had allocated a conflicting dhcp ip to TV and Hummy box.

Sorted now

Looks like you TV might be running HTTPS on port 80. Interesting!
