WebIF does not show all media content

I suspected what turned out to be the correct interpretation, but wasn't sure. Seen a lot of occasions where different words are used intentionally to mean different things. So there could have been something very subtle about "update" versus "upgrade".

Using "package list" is good, but there again there isn't a "from the internet" when you carry out the real business.

You'll never sort everyone out, unfortunately. But, anyway, based on Fred, a basic computer user , and common terminology for a browser, here's another idea for the pot rant rant...

Refresh package list
Download latest packages

...as in "refresh browser" versus "download file".

(didn't I "download" the stuff in the first place?)

Dragging back onto the boring topic of "WebIF does not show all media content"
Whilst doing some test recordings for this thread, I found the following comparison between SF Media list and SUI Media list:
This morning I recorded:
BBC World News C2 BBC2HD @11:29 30min
BBC News Ch130 BBC News @11:00 60min
BBC News Ch2 BBC2HD @10:59 30min
Homes Under the Hammer Ch1 BBCHD @ 10:00 60min

My SUI Media list contains: (only the relevent ones)
BBC World News Decrypt Len err 11:29 30min 2 BBCHD HD
BBC World News 11:29 30min 2 BBC HD HD Enc
BBC News Decrypt Done 11:00 60min 130 BBC News (No flags)
BBC News Decrypt Done 10:59 30min 2 BBC2HD HD
Homes Under the Hammer 10:00 59min 1 BBC1HD HD Enc
Homes Under the Hammer Decrypt - Len err 10:00 58min 1 BBC1HD HD

My SUI Deleted Items contains (only the relevent ones):
BBC News 11:00 60min 130 BBC News (no flags)
BBC News 10:59 30min 2 BBC2HD HD Enc
Ch130 BBC News @11:00 60min

My CF Media list contains:
Homes Under the Hammer 22-09-15 1000.ts (1.88 GiB)
No other news programmes
My CF Deleted Item folder contains:
BBC News_20150922_1059.ts (1.23 GiB)
No other relevent programmes

If we ignore the len error and duplicate (almost) files (in italics) as part of the discussions going on elsewhere, the above lists are to illustrate the differences I have between the CF Media Lists and SUI Media Lists.

Thinking out loud, could the lack of programmes being displayed in the CF Media List and the apparent 'errors' introduced by detectads be related. What needs to be in place to show a programme in the CF list that doesn't need to be in place to display them in the SUI list?
