Webif series recording not working

I was testing how the series linking actually works, only that way could we check it was actually a bug.

Not at all. There could have been something peculiar about my setup which stopped webif from accepting both series.If you had said that your box gave exactly the same error, that would have confirmed a bug in webif's way of deciding on duplicates, which is what prpr actually suspected, ie, that both the CRID and channel had to be examined to decide on a conflict.

What you checked, we already knew.

When setting up Winter Olympics (SD) through the WebIF (1.0.8-2) it is not including the Mon, Tue, Thu or Fri episodes on BBC 1 at midday.
Setting up via the remote control does setup these entries, but I'm not sure they are going to record as there is an error in the 'i' display on the timers for these.
The HDR error is that instead of the timer's Programme Information 1st line being "1 BBC ONE HD+ 101 BBC ONE HD" it is displaying "2 BBC TWO HD+ 101 BBC ONE HD"

But this does also show that the webIF logic dosn't quiet match the HDR's logic as the HDR doesn't ignore the episodes on another channel.

What you checked, we already knew.

Not at all - you thought you knew, but as per the other current conversation HERE (click) there are instances where series recordings involve other services too. This is not as cut and dried as you would like.

As a further symptom of this problem, I discovered today that a system restore of my schedule had changed the Sunday schedule to a weekday one, resulting in two identical schedules for Mon-Fri. Everything was recorded twice, and then duplicate recordings detected.
