Webif site has wrong IP for DLNA server

I wish :( I've been fighting with my d-link to do this since I accidentally bricked my netgear.

The DHCP table interface is a mess on the D-link

Host Name IP Address MAC Address Status

Locutus 192.168.0.5 34-15-9E-19-02-E4 Static
unimatrix 192.168.0.2 90-84-0D-E7-13-AD Auto
Jupiter-7 192.168.0.3 00-23-54-80-B4-A2 Auto
192.168.0.4 80-1F-02-6E-70-B1 Auto
tv6edd90be2fe5 192.168.0.6 00-A0-96-F6-77-F9 Auto
Catherines-iPad 192.168.0.7 F4-1B-A1-17-53-70 Auto
0.0.0.0 D0-23-DB-63-6D-62 Auto
iPhone 192.168.0.9 00-26-08-A9-04-17 Auto
0.0.0.0 40-30-04-27-DB-38 Auto

It wont even show the hostname of the humax! drop downs only IP and macs that have not been allocated. Locutus is static only because it's in the DMZ (runs as a general server with own firewall / domain. OD etc ..)

From memory my netgear used to even bind MAC to names you could custom define ..

http screenshots.portforward. com / routers / Dlink / DSL-2780 / LAN_Setup .jpg

fortunately it's bridged to a gigabit switch that does all hard work, but when I tried to do it in reverse the modem / router repeatedly disconnected.

Any thoughts appreciated and thanks for the tip - but this is something I've been fighting with for a while. There are probably 2 ipads and 2 - 3 iphones that SHOULD be on that list, but as you can see it's very selective.

...thanks af123 but i fear limited success (0.11.0r2-6). Out of 6 reboots, 2 gave me the 192.0.2.200 address for Mediatomb.

If it helps, I had side stepped/solved this issue by adding a 10sec delay to the start of Mediatomb (init.d). Last time I looked it seemed like the wlan hadn't fully initialised at the time of boot (although from memory you had an if loop for that particular issue).

In the web interface? The latest version of the mediatomb package (and its webif plugin) should only use the port number from the mediatomb.html page and pick the IP address out of the hosts file so it no longer matters what mediatomb writes to that html file.

Yes. WebIf IP = 192.168.x.x, Mediatomb IP 192.0.2.200

Strangely I cannot replicate the problem today (good news) but I'll keep an eye on it.
