Why am I shown as a New Member when I joined in 2019?

Sorry if this is known issue - I looked but could not see a thread on this

I think it's based on message count, not on time. Yes, it's stupid IMHO too.

On Xenforno forums the title ladder is based on:

• Message count
• Trophy points
• Reaction Score

Registering and then hardly posting for 7 years does not climb the ladder. Someone who did that would still be "new" to posting.

Lurkers are not building history, and therefore not building trust.

Lurkers are not building history, and therefore not building trust.

So they just end up posting pointless messages instead, to get their post count up, to get rid of the label. Is that any better?
