XMBC - Linux

    Could it be possible to add XMBC to the HDR Fox T2 ?

    This would open it up even further as a media player !!

    Just a thought :)

    How would you interact with it if you did ? All user input from the HDR's remote and output to screen is processed by Humax's own application software which is specific to native HDR operations. This software is closed source, so I don't think running an XBMC client on the HDR would be possible.

    Thanks for the reply.. Was hoping there might have been a way to get it's codec's on board.
    Would have made the box support a lot more file formats.

    XBMC also requires a decent 3D graphcis chipset which the Humax is unlikely to have

    True. I was hoping that it may have been possible, purely to add proper mkv support.
