Yet another oddity

Last night, after the main box had powered up as scheduled boot at 5pm and then sat doing nothing for a couple of hours, I pressed Play to bring up the time bar so I could skip back to the news. Nothing happened. Tried again. Nothing. Pause didn't work either. Oh dear, looks like an HD issue.

So I pressed Media and all's as expected. Played a prog OK, stopped, went back to live TV, pressed Play, up comes the time bar and we're all OK again.

OK. Then it's probably not some sign of impending disaster, just another foible.

Yup. I notice it more often on my HD-FOX, but it is not unheard of for the TSR buffer to need kicking into operation. I think something goes wrong occasionally when switching services.
