...you see shots of one of your former workplace sites on "Look At Life" (Talking Pictures) from 1964. The bit in question had hardly changed in the subsequent 25 years when I left.

No. They knocked it down sometimes in the late 1990s/early 2000s I think and turned it into a business park, although the outline of some of the old buildings is still clear on big G's satellite view.
