YouTube-dl: file conversion format to Humax?

Having recently used YouTube-dl to download an iPlayer .mp4 file, I would like to convert it to be more Humax friendly.
I tried the AV2HDR-T2 (2011-12-06) windows utility but it won't accept the mp4 file.

Any advise please.

I respectfully suggest you take it as is.

Otherwise, you'll need to convert the .MP4 to .M2TS, and that rather depends what codecs are used in the MP4. If they're .M2TS compatible, it's just a case of repackaging, which you can do on the Humax. If not (probably not)... you really need to export the .MP4 to a "proper" computer because the HDR-FOX cannot reasonably do video transcoding.

Having got your .M2TS, just rename it .TS and it's Humax-ready. You can then recreate the sidecar files using CF.
