    We should at least be able to tell whether an EPG entry is actually delivered by IPTV, if not choose whether to display them at all.

    The EPG spec was not well designed in the first place! Things like a standard way of indicating New vs Repeat, Episode and Series number...

    Au contraire. We knew about IPTV services even then, what's new is them mixing formats on one LCN.
