Couldn't say on that one. I only use it to access iPlayer - I have no experience with qtube.
Yes, that does seem the most likely scenario. Dammit! Ah well...
Yes - same happening here. Was working fine the last time I used it (December 2021) - thanks to iplfix I was able to access the iPlayer and download episodes etc, but now if I select iPlayer from the apps page of TV Portal, there's a longish pause of blank screen, then the machine gives up and...
Don't know whether this is exactly the right section of the forum, but... I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to whoever thunk up the iplfix package. To my feather-spitting annoyance I've been without access to the iPlayer on my HDR FOX-T2 box for ages ...until I checked in here today...

I haven't upgraded the CF on my machine for a loooong time. I've just kept using it, and it's worked! The machine is connected to my broadband via ethernet.
Today I had a need to...
Well, the title kinda says it all. I've got a sneaky feeling that the answer will be "no", but here goes...
The scenario:
I find myself wanting to access my HDR FOX T2 (either using the Web-if or loading some content on/off its HDD using an FTP client), only to find that the thing is asleep/in...
It's about how the browser/system is set up to understand what action it's supposed to take with different file types. If it's asked to fetch a media file, it tries automatically to play the thing. However, if it can't identify it as a media file (on account of the altered file extension), it...
