I can't say I've had this problem, it's usually the renderer that doesn't support a format. I use my BR player to stream things to and that's never had an issue other than what I know it doesn't support which is lossless audio in MKV container so I use m2ts for that.

My PC (AMD gfx card) and an Oppo BR player. Neither have ever not connected before. I use it for recording stuff when I something is on but I don't watch much TV :) I'm finally getting round to watching films I recorded last Christmas!!

Cheers folks, it's a Panasonic plasma (2012) and the Humax is the only thing that ever has issues. I'll just accept it as a problem :) It's not like I use it lots.

I'm not sure if this is the player or custom firmware as I've had it that long. I have a fairly frequent problem with the HDMI output. I get the loading screen and then you can see the screen go black but there is no signal again to display. I.e. when you'd expect the TV channel to show...

I know! It's other people's that I have no control over which is what I'm asking. It gives you more control over what you see and download, no need to download all those silly avatars and signatures if you don't want to see them ;)

Does anyone know if Xenforo have any plans to allow this? On phpBB, vBulletin etc there is a user preference to disable them which just hides them. For work this can be useful. Cheers.

Probably an easy one but as I hardly use my Humax, mine seems to have got stuck on channel 200 (red button channel). No matter what channel I change to before I switch it off it comes back on on the red button channel :/ Oddly enough this was after my friend's 2 year old son had managed to...

Indeed, we all are :) It's on my want list as there's various stuff I want to crop, though most of them rips of my Poirot/other TV Blu-Rays as they have the whole intro colour bars/beeps etc on them and I really don't want to have to reencode the whole thing.

$96 is not what I'd call cheap!! Admittedly compared to something like Adobe Premiere it is but cheap it ain't. As for the original topic; LastPass, XMarks, Notepad++, FileZilla, FastStone Image Viewer.... :)

Hi all, I'm really not understanding this auto-decryption thing. I have it installed and none of my HD recordings have the 'Enc' icon next to them any more so I assume that worked and the Enc flag is removed. I assumed this meant I could download them using the Opt+ option in Web-If? However...

Yes, 2.0.5 which is the latest. Some recordings still don't play. However I can edit them which is what's important. They'll never be played on a PC.

It appears to be VLC. VideoReDo will load the files without issue.
