     Remote / Receiver Became Problematic

     Had mine swapped out for this issue a couple of weeks ago. It was intermittent but got progressively worse.

     Seems better now & trace is only taking 10 hops rather than 16 & no timeouts.

     Thanks. After an hour's rest I tried again & managed to install Disable OTA, DSO & Auto Unprotect but then IR failed. I suspected an actual connectivity problem to the server so ran a trace & got the following: Tracing route to hummypkg.org.uk [89.248.55.76] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 3 ms...

     Custom Install Recovery?

     Now my original 2nd post has disappeared... :( It did say I had partial success with manual installation but that a potential disk problem was reported on the first load of Web IF.

      I'm currently copying to USB ahead of a warranty exchange. It would be useful if I could display the main HDD & USB HDD contents in side-by-side windows in the Web IF to do a quick compare. A small point I've noticed it that during copy, the Web IF reports files that are copying as playing...
