This may not be specific to lighttp or safari but found the ok following bug using safari 5.1 and also safari 7.1.1 with lighttp
From main webif screen select mobile version
Press home icon on top right (back button will now be in top left)
Search epg menu item now does not work
If home is not...
Not sure if this is intentional or not?
Installed lighttp - all worked ok
Removed lighttp - web interface stopped working (expected this)
Rebooted box
Lighttp still installed (and working)
So loos like it can't be removed once installed?
For info was wanting to try and go back to mongoose to...
Testing on original iPad with iOS v5.1.1
Initial test show no issues with functionality or speed with the following browsers:
Mercury v8.1
Safari v5.1
Isideweb v1.4
Will continue testing and feed back issues if I find any.
There are a number of other apps on the play store including one that plays media from the humax on a phone/tablet and an interesting one that seems to allow live streaming of TV and remote recording.
No equivalents on the apple store (yet ?)
They need an account on myhumax.net to work
I'm...
I've been using auto-decrypt now for some months to decrypt all files and find it reliable.
Just got to be careful not to do anything with a recording immediatly after it has recorded (and is decrypting) but other than that it just works in the background and I don't need to worry about any...
Michael,
Thanks I should of thought of that all working now.
For anyone else with the problem to clear the cache select:
Settings - Safari - Clear History
Thans again

Still something funny happening with Safari on an iPAD
Link to forum from the main webif page gives the error I mentioned above as does typing http://hummy.tv in as the URL
Http://hummy.tv/forum works if typed as the URL. So looks like hummy.tv is not redirecting to this but only with safari...
When going to hummy.tv On my iPAD I get
"safari cannot open the page because too many redirects have occurred"
Seems tobe some sort of circular ref as url flashes a number of times before the error
Works with another browser app though so DNS issue seems fixed
Wiki link from forum also works...
I had a similar problem described at this thread:
http://hummy.tv/forum/threads/retune-now-constant-reboot.4250/#post-52304
Mine was due to a bug in auto schedule restore package which has since been fixed but might be worth a try in case you have discovered another bug.
Why do the automated checkouts always ask if I brought my own bags?
Whose bags do they think I'd bring?
Also at whsmith the tills ask "would you like to buy a bag for 1p?"
Here's a tip - always answer no as there are usually bags at the side of the till so no point in buying more
Think I've found the answer
Me "hello how can I help you"
End user "my computer is displaying lots of errors"
Me "can you try turning it off"
End user "ok I've done that do you want me to turn it back on"
Me "are there any errors on the screen now"
End user "no"
Me "best to leave it as it is...
Getting lots of calls while on call today.
Think I've identified the root cause but not the solution.
Anyone know where I can find a generic fix for the "end user problem"?
All suggestions welcome
:-)
Proposed enhancement
I use renumber quite a bit to group channels that are similar together (I know I could use favorites but I prefer them all in one list).
I've lost the renumbering after retunes in the past and thought it was just due to tge number of renumbers I was doing.
However just...
I've been trying to figure out why my restore after a retune swapped BBC1 for MovieMix
Only thing I've come up with so far is that BBC1 is the first channel on one Mux and MovieMix the first on another
But not really getting anywhere in understanding the logic
