Getting lots of calls while on call today.

Think I've identified the root cause but not the solution.

Anyone know where I can find a generic fix for the "end user problem"?

All suggestions welcome

Remember, it is those 'end user problem's' that help pay the bills!

When I'm at work I say that if my company every get their systems working 100% then there will be a lot of employees looking for a new job. Let the chaos rein!!!

We used to have a support team dedicated to this sort of thing. We could not resist defacing their office sign so that it read

"END USER COMPUTING ... NOW!"

Think I've found the answer

Me "hello how can I help you"
End user "my computer is displaying lots of errors"
Me "can you try turning it off"
End user "ok I've done that do you want me to turn it back on"
Me "are there any errors on the screen now"
End user "no"
Me "best to leave it as it is then as that seems to have fixed your errors"
Me "thank you for calling"
