Here are my processing settings. I haven't altered anything on here for probably a year or two.
Auto.log just shows entries created by detectads - I'm not sure what normal recursive decrypt / shrink entries would look like? I deleted the queue.db but that made no difference i.e. nothing has...
I copied some .ts files off of my Hummy onto my pc and couldn't play them back. I then realised that they hadn't been decrypted. After a bit more research I can see that only files that have been processed with detectads have been shrunk and decrypted - the Recursive options on "My Video" folder...
I think the early ones had the red label on the back of the top cover where as the later ones didn't? Useful for when checking eBay photos! They seem to be going like hot cakes at the moment though - presumably mainly to people on this forum...;)
Ahhh, hopefully that's what it is! The one I am using is an eBay one that hadn't been used much - apparently.... I might dig out my older one that started to "appear to" have tuning issues and plug it back in. Is it possible to transfer the tuner from one box to another? I've got the type where...
Ta,
It happened on Saturday with Strictly Come Dancing too (guess who wasn't very popular!!!), but this was when it was still recording as well (and also on BBC1 HD). I'll keep an eye on it and also on eBay!
I recorded The Apprentice last night on BBC1 HD and then we started watching it from the recording about 10 minutes before the recording finished. After a couple of minutes got the black screen with a message saying the program is encrypted (can't remember the exact message now) and that was...
Ignore this - I did a reboot and the option is there and enabled now.....
I've got exactly the same happening. My "old" Hummy has the RTS option but my "new" one doesn't. Did you sort it out on yours?
Both running exactly the same versions:-
Web interface version: 1.4.2-7
Custom firmware...
Thanks, I spoke too soon though as I put the latest custom firmware on my new machine and also updated my original machine at the same time and now the monitoring is working again!!
Yeah, I was wondering about this. On my current system the System Monitor no longer works i.e. the graphs don't appear and I didn't want my new system to then "inherit" this feature.
That's what I was asking about ideally - just an easy way to export and then import a package list with settings.
Turn on the "Crop recording following ad detection" (slide from NO to YES). Currently you are just bookmarking the end of the ad breaks and not actually doing the cropping.
This is performing extremely well, I just let it process all recordings . One thing I have noticed is that if you start to playback a recording whilst processing is still in progress there will be an orphaned .hmt file visible in the webif media browser.
I think the playback started 15 mins...
I'm using it with the "Crop recording following ad detection?" enabled so I'm not using the bookmarks.
The file name has the -crop suffix in the webif recordings browser so it's easy to tell which files have been processed. Presumably a log is kept so that files aren't processed more than once...
I can't remember exactly but it was to do with a higher priority recording had caused this one to fail. This file was being processed because I checked in the webif shortly afterwards and the recording had the -crop suffix. Stopped the playback and then started again and we are watching the...
