With no port mapping (also called port translation), and simply port forwarding port 80 to 192.168.2.3, then from outside it would be http://111.222.123.234, from inside http://192.168.2.3. The ':80' would not need specifying since this is the default that any web browser will use in the absence...
I don't think its one of those things. Several other reports recently, and I too have had a few that have never happened before. Neither Hell's Kitchen from the last two nights would decrypt automatically. Managed to do them manually via webif, but then the auto decrypt started to try to work on...
Not running Cyberlink either. Will also try content sharing off, but have just done a factory reset as well to see if that helps. If if continues then are there any other useful log files to interrogate? Would probably try firmware reload next.
Another thought is that I have a folder full of...
As per the title, have been getting a lot of random crashes over the last 2 weeks. Humax had been very stable prior to that. crash.log as follows..
Humax is set to turn on at 8.10 am. Crash this morning happened whilst I was just browsing the EPG, machine froze, rebooted after about 30...
Thanks Ezra. I already have all those episodes properly dedup'd in a folder of their own, but I'm not bothered about embedding series info so don't use helper files. BTW, the new series is Series 3, which would need adding to the file anyway.
Thanks af123,
The expression was {^[0-9]*/[0-9]*\.* *}. This removes episode numbering such as '1/20.' from the beginning, which is pertinent at the moment to the new series of Shaun The Sheep currently being shown on CBBC.
Why do I feel like a chastised 10-year old (which I most certainly am not)? I assume then that the author of a package 'develops' it, whilst anybody else who might want to try out a possible improvement for the greater good has no right to, and is simply 'fiddling'? That wouldn't do much to...
Bit of advice please.
I've broken the normalise.jim file whilst trying to add another regular expression to filter out. Unfortunately I was editing an older version on the iPad and forgot to download the latest version from the Humax before uploading my edited version. Result is that...
Looks like encsummary counts all files under 'Media', which will include bits of your NAS too if mounted there. Same thing happens to me - 172 files counted, but about half of these are on my NAS, the Humax itself only has about 90 files.
+1
A simple 'not for me thanks' would have sufficed. Without people around here donating their time and skills developing new features and sharing them we'd still be stuck with standard firmware. This is just the way to discourage them.
I wouldn't recommend doing this from personal experience. I once had my NAS drive mounted such that it appeared in My Video as a subfolder. The trouble was that it confused the Humax as to how much spare capacity it had available for recordings. Common sense would say that it would simply sum...
I see from your sig that you running firmware 1.02.27. I (and some others I think) had this issue a couple of times having 'upgraded' to that, and the problem went away when I downgraded to 1.02.20 again. Need to try 1.02.29 at some point soon.
He isn't calling it an MPEG2 (AV) file though, but rather an audio file encoded with the mp2 codec (as is standard in DVB transmissions, not an mp3 codec) then re-wrapped by the webif as mp3, as opposed to being a genuine transcode to mp3. Most players (Apple devices excepted it seems) should...
I've noticed browsing my folders that there are lots of .encrypted files left behind after I have deleted programmes using the UI. Presumably the native Humax software doesn't know to delete these since they are generated by the unencrypt process. Maybe when the process is running looking for...
Any chance of an option to truncate the webif_auto.log file periodically? Mine is sitting at over 200Kb after only a couple of weeks, most of which is repeated logged attempts to dedup a folder of 70 episodes of Shaun The Sheep that has already been processed!!
I too have started experiencing similar problems since running 1.02.27 CF2.11. The HDR is set to power up daily at 0800 and off at midnight, but would either not start up at all or if it did it would go straight into the Wizard. Have had two 'fail to starts' and two Wizards so far this week...
Neither WMP nor VLC will play back HD .ts files (though VLC will do SD). Try installing XBMC instead.
The Shrink icon is a bug affecting some HD files that af123 is currently looking into.
