Mp4 files playing full screen when should be 16:9???
Cheers, that's not too bad a workaround really, tis a shame the boxes doesn't automatically sort things like this out but I guess everything has it's limitations and the hummy is doing a pretty amazing job as a digibox already what with the web if stuff, remote scheduling etc etc...- valve90210

Mp4 files playing full screen when should be 16:9???
Hi All Just a quick question, I use Freemake to convert files to mp4 to play on my humax and it seems to work nicely however for some reason it outputs them all full screen rather than in widescreen format with black bars top and bottomso everything is a little tall and narrow. Oh that's good, I haven't gone mad then, I didn't think I could see it anywhere. I shall have to hover over them all tomorrow when I'm on my pc. Edit: cheers for those two, is there a list of the Humax ones anywhere?- valve90210

I'm sure this has been asked and answered before but my search skills are rather limited as I'm on my phone but is there anywhere a lost showing what all the different icons after files in the media browser section of webif?- valve90210

Oh yeah I realise that, it's just that there are occasions where i remember suddenly that something is due to come on fairly soon after and would be handy to be able to schedule the reboot to make sure it gets in that schedule quickly. If you could add it, that would be ace!- valve90210

Glad it's not just me. Is there any way it could be added? The time I'm most likely to use the remote scheduling portal is when I'm out and about and on my mobile, so would need to be able to reset the box in order to be able to set something whilst out...- valve90210

Strange problem - BBC3 fine when viewing live, recordings suffer audio cutout and stutter
He mentioned in particular Family Guy as being very bad indeed. That is a very strange situation, is there discussion of it on this forum, if so I'll read up on it.- valve90210

Strange problem - BBC3 fine when viewing live, recordings suffer audio cutout and stutter
Hi All I'm posting up on behalf of a friend of mine who has a 9300t and is suffering a strange problem. When viewing BBC3 live the picture and sound are fine, when he records it however it is a different matter, it suffers with audio losing sync, stuttering and dropping out big chunks making...- valve90210

Software updated, now no custom firmware...
I have just noticed that my hummy seems to have updated it's software on about the 20th of December and I'm not sure why. I only noticed when a couple of recordings were marked as encrypted when I have auto decrypt running usually. A bit of checking later and it seems the box has updated to...- valve90210

Why does it change stations to ITV2+1 when recording?
Ah, I never use the channel list, I always go to the epg which doesn't grey out unavailable channels, I shall have to check that out! I'll also have to check out the change channel button, as that's another I never use...I shall have to see where they are mapped to on my Harmony- valve90210

Why does it change stations to ITV2+1 when recording?
This is something I've been wondering about too, also having come from the 9200, I figured it was most likely caused by the different multiplex thing but also was confused by it changing channel. One thing I prefer on the 9200 is the way it greys out unavailable channels in the epg when you...- valve90210
