      Thanks Mike0001. He has mapped a drive for the Humax and can now access the files in "media" no matter how many times he times the Humax off and on.:)

      My brother has installed the latest custom software on is new Humax hdr. He want's to access the files on the humax via the Humax icon when you go to network from my computer on Win 7 instead of using FTP. He has installed Samba for this to work. It works fine but everytime he switches the Humax...

      Thanks for all your help af123 and thanks black hole for the info. Figured out how to telnet and used Putty. seen it used on the video on this site. Did what you said and it said something about an error but it worked fine. It's all back to normal now. Very grateful, Cheers.:)

      Got lost a bit in the file branches. Didn't find anything in TMP, only found Mongoose in Var. In there were folders: Mongoose, +cgi-bin, +html, include, lib, plugin portal. I couldn't any error file, but may have missed it. Some folders have a ? mark on them. Thanks for the help.
