Update, I found this simple command line option using ffmpeg:
ffmpeg -i input.mkv -codec copy output.mp4
It's very quick.
Reviving an old thread, just wondered if there are any updates to adapting MKV's to work on the T2? I've downloaded & tried AVIDEMUX 252 in my WinXP VM but it resulted in jumpy video & garbled audio, probably finger trouble on my part but was hoping there might be a newer, Linux based...
Thanks for the replies folks and apologies for my delay. I didn't get any notifications & only remembered to check back today.
I used 'save last streamed' a few times on iplayer so was hoping to use that again, but the youtube-dl package may well do what I want, I'll give it a go when I get...
It's been a while since I was on here as my HDR is now doing what I want & has been for quite a while. One thing that I wanted to check on is if there's still a custom portal, specifically one that will show All4 so that I can 'save last streamed'? A quick search suggests that there's no active...
Hi, I've been searching around on the forum but can't seem to find the best / quickest way to copy some recordings off the internal disk without actually removing the disk. I want to make copies so that I can reformat the drive, then re-install custom Firmware as I'm having a number of problems...
Thanks Ezra, I have CF installed and also have the Disable OTA package installed so assumed that there would not be a daily wake up.
Versions are as follows:
Web interface version: 1.2.5-13
Custom firmware version: 3.00 (build 2137)
Humax Version: 1.03.12 (kernel HDR_CFW_3.00)
Seasons Greetings Everyone.
By chance, I was up at around 4:20 this morning and noticed that my HDR was awake too! I looked in the activity log and can see a daily occurrence of "04:17:31 - System booted (Scheduled event)."
I have the RS package installed, so am wondering if that's what's...
I'm not sure if I missed something in the upgrade notes, but though I'd mention this just in case.
Today I upgraded to the latest version of Webif and noticed the shiny buttons at the bottom of the Webif main screen, I followed the 'Things Every' link, noticed the firmware upgrade link and...
Sorry, I should have mentioned that I've used Wireshark to look at the HTTP Posts. The data that's being sent starts with the MAC address and then has a number of fields of varying sizes. From the looks of things the data is not encrypted, just encoded.
Just wondered on the off chance if anyone has one of these? I've been trying to understand the data that the Internet Bridge posts to the Intamac website via HTTP post. I can see the MAC address alright in the post data, but no real clues beyond that.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
By coincidence my drive turns out to be the same model as the 1TB example in the Wiki at least according to the WebIF diagnostics. While surfing around I also downloaded the PDF for the drive specs, it's 512 byte sectors same as reported by the diagnostics page. Strangely enough the hdparm...
I just installed a Seagate 1TB disk with no issues. According to the WebIf Diagnostics page it's a Seagate Pipeline HD 5900.2, model number ST31000424CS. It's a Pipeline disk which I got from a VM Tivo box on fleabay. Works fine and no bother to install, not sure how to check if I'm getting...
Hi Xav,
Streaming may not work too well as the bandwidth will be limited on the uplink from your home network, but you can download quite easily from the WebIf so long as you have a few hours to spare. Just browse to the .ts file you want to view, click opt+ and choose download. You can also...
I have Dropbear enabled , but telnet is also enabled (i.e. not disabled) and passwords set to no, all seems fine with SSH access via keys. I was trying to use telnet on the local network, when I do I'm asked for a user-id and then a password. I can't find any references to them and thought...
Thanks AF. There's a chance it was caused by my RPi, I'll keep an eye out and see if it happens again. I've just swapped the Disk out today for a 1Tb (from a Virgin Tivo off fleabay, which in my case turned out to be a Seagate Pipeline btw) so if it was a disk error that will be gone now...
