  If anyone else needs to do this, one final thing: make sure that if you are using the channeldel package that you are not autodeleting the one that you now want.

  Hi. So a programme has come up on YESTERDAY, a channel which is not in my channel list (never wanted it before). What is the easiest way to add a single channel without ruining the rest of the set-up? Thanks!

  Sorry if this is a known bug, but at 11.30pm - every day, I think - my box flashes up an on-screen message asking me if I REALLY want to shut down (not sure of exact wording). Frantically grabbing the remote to select CANCEL results in a lot of useless button-pressing - the remote has no effect...

7. Kaspersky doesn't like Browse Media Files or Scheduled Events.
  
  OK, I finally got so bored with this that I worked out how to fix it. In case anyone else has the same problem, in Kaspersky Pre 3.0 go to SETTINGS - WEB ANTI-VIRUS - EXCLUSIONS and add the appropriate URL to the list of exclusions.

  Thank you, everyone. The answer was there all the time: always programme recordings through Hummypkg Remote Scheduling and none of these problems will arise!

  Drat! I expected as much. Such 'features' tend to come from Humax and not from the custom firmware. :) That's why I was on old firmware until I had issues with iPlayer. So does that mean that now I have to choose between a working iPlayer and a working remote?

  Has anyone else had this? The remote works fine in all circs EXCEPT navigating the EPG, where it's very sluggish. It sometimes needs several presses to react - and then sometimes reacts to a press from a few seconds ago. Yes, I have tried new batteries, and a hard reset. Loving...

  Since I installed Kaspersky, it's blocking access to Browse Media Files and Scheduled Events. The other WebIF features are fine. Firefox says 'The connection to the server was reset'. IE says 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage'. If I suspend Kaspersky protection, all is well...

  Hi. When I download a file from the Humax to my PC, it gets stored in a TEMP folder, overriding my download manager which is set to DOWNLOAD ALL FILES TO DESKTOP. Is there a way to change the default destination for downloads? Thanks!

  OK, so I tried chanpush with no result. I checked channel delete - it all looks fine. So I'm stumped. How does hummypkg sync itself with the box?Why would it not do so? Thanks!
