      Thanks. I'm using the exactly the same settings as yesterday, had them saved in Putty and now it's working! Maybe the odd reset on the box and my computer did it. Thanks again.

      Can anybody help me access my HDR with Telnet ? I have managed it in the past and am not sure what I'm doing wrong this time. I have a couple of disk errors and want to run the Maintenance mode. I'm using Windows 7 and have tried Putty and Windows own Telnet. I've IP address 192.168.1.6 and...

      Changing root \ working directory, is it possible?

      Yes, it would help and make it all tidy. Good to see I'm not completely alone with this one. Yes, 'non-series filer' works or 'root tide'. I have a recent folder where I dump all loose files. It would be good to be able to set the destination in the WebIF. Thanks again.
