Thanks, so I've just managed to do it.
I ran command "tune2fs -m 0 /dev/sda2" it only took a sec.
Now it is reporting the same amount of free space in the WebIF as the TV browser.
Should I not have set it to 5% rather than 0%. If I make sure I've got space would it do any harm to my...
I'd start by going to the WebIF diagnostic page and clicking on the Auto-log file. Then have a look at the log below and see if I can work out where and why the process was not working. I often find a danged .htm file or something is stopping the process. Will also tell you whether server is...
Just a couple of thoughts on the WebIF.
I'd move 'Service Management' under 'Settings' to save space on the front page.
I'd have notifications on the 'Service Management' page appear at the bottom and not at the top, which pushes down the whole page.
I'd have user changes on the 'file...
Thanks,
So the WebIF and Diskfree diagnostic both show I have 99GB less space than the on screen display.
Its always been like this, I've run diskfix before now from the telenet in maintenance mode and the difference has always been there.
I'd like to think the on screen display was right...
Ok I deleted a load and now auto functions are working.
Just it reports the wrong amount of free space.
Is there a good cloud storage that works well with the humax (filling to it and being able to search from remote control) ?
Oh ,no, not as I remember.
I think I did same strange disk copy and expanded the partition.
Would make sense as the onscreen file browser gave a different amount of free space compared to the WebIF.
Anything I could do at this late stage ?
I'm deleting a bit of stuff so should help just not...
I'm sure you'll get to the bottom of this one.
It will be a corrupt file used by the custom firmware which is not being re-created or deleted, I'd say (no expert). So your right you must be able to remove this file/folder and then it would install fine. Best wait of someone who can identify...
OK this seems a bit like a stupid question but.
The auto functions in WebIF have stopped working.
The log says I've insufficient disk space. :(
Is that right?
I've at least 80gb spare; then again that might be a low ratio of the 2Tb total. You can see I tried turning on the DLNA server, not...
You could fix the WebIF by putting it on a USB stick, turning the box off and on and it will install.
The internet is controlled by the interface on the TV with remote, so have a look there. And of cause your router.
I'm sure there's better advice to come from others, best of luck.
So if I go to the 'Service Management' page and turn off 'mongoose' the WebIF will stop working ?
If that's right why is it there, tempting me to break it?
I had a similar problem "webif displays: Index of/." after I forced WebIF to reinstall from the WebIF and then not waiting as instructed...
I fixed it by putting WebIf package on a USB device, with the more recent firmware it installed it automatically. Easier for me than Telnet line commands.
@ prpr
I said he made comments in the same vain as you, just to show you get what you give.
Not to carry on.
We all get funny impressions of people but we don't share them unless you really know something....
I feel responsible for upsetting prpr and Raydon, now...
never mind it's Christmas
Well Raydon got back to me and said.......some stuff about prpr, in the same vain as your comments about him.
Then

AV2HDR-T2
is a bit hard work, one file at a time, not saving to location. All a bit much to stop it being tagged as un-watched.
Umm still not a solution for me, I've just too many to do.
I could do with a utility to run on the HDR that creates all the missing 'sidecars'.
Be nice as it would give imported files an icon on the browser. I remember there is a windows based program but it would be great to have it automated on the HDR it's self. Unless I've missed something...
Thank you for the comments.
The 'Opt+' button 'Mark watched' is just not there.
They are marked as unwatched on WebIF but only the folders are on the TV browsers.
Sidecars....must be something like that. I've tried deleting any associated files and .series file, only to have to return on a...
I've a few old .TS file I have copied onto my HDR and their folder always shows as unwatched. I've tried a few things but can not seem to get it to change. Well each time I re-install WebIF it resets them to unwatch again.
Any ideas??
Thanks :)
