I have used the Humax 'Beta' site since the early PVR9200 days. I may be wrong, but I have never seen an instance where software has been further updated as a direct result of appearing there. In fact, until recertly the 'Beta' site release usually followed a few days after the official OTA...
An odd one today - the ring didn't change from blue to red (as per my settings), when a recording started. I thought the recording had failed, but it is fine. The ring went red as normal for a second recording following on immediately afterwards on the same channel. I've not seen that before.
Yes, very infrequently the ring on mine stays blue when going into standby, instead of going red. Everything seems to be shut down OK and switching back on for a few seconds fixes it.
Like you, I have seen this first thing in the morning, but only once.
I came to the conclusion that the problem was hardware related in that the green screen got gradually worse over a period of time. A HD-Fox T2 connected to the same oldish Sony TV never gave any trouble (and still doesn't).
The HDR is now connected to a Panasonic and, touch wood, has not given...
I had a similar message some years ago http://hummy.tv/forum/threads/usb-error-message.2809/
I contacted Humax and they changed it out without quibble.
Thanks for the help everyone, I am now happy.
My difficulties were not so much the commands, but the use of case, spaces and " " , of which I now have a better understanding.
A simple question that is beyond my non existent knowledge.
Once into a Telnet session, how do I navigate to the directories containing the recorded files?
I wasn't able to find anything in the Wiki.
The above post illustrates the whole point of this debate.
It expresses an opinion and is not abusive and thus acceptable.
If the post had also stated that you are a pompous, self opinionated bigot, that would also be an opinion, but would be extremely abusive and certainly not acceptable.
As explained in a previous green screen thread, I put my Sony Bravia in the loft and bought a Panasonic Viera, which seems to work fine.
As a matter of interest, although my HDR would not work with the Bravia, my HD worked every time.
