Exactly, I knew I'd read that somewhere! And the HDR Fox T2 does cope perfectly with reproducing DD+/E-AC3 streams, as does my Sony BRAVIA TV which can also resample E-AC3 back to AC3 when outputting via SPDIF. I appreciate the offer but it's all good now, I just did the "remux with TSmuxerGUI, remux again with AV2HDR-T2 and add info for sidecar files, FTP to HDR Fox T2" method and everything plays okay. Understatement! Very useful being able to move some of my favourite shows onto the HDR Fox T2...- zekepliskin

Here's a scenario I've encountered recently when testing what the HDR Fox T2 will and will not play correctly. I have a TV show episode originally in a MKV container. It has 1080p level 4 H264 video and 640k E-AC3 audio. I can use ffmpeg to remux it to a TS or M2TS file and it'll play...- zekepliskin

How do I make a recursive decryption for the whole My Video folder?
Yes indeed, wish I'd set the box up properly 18 months ago though as the list of things to decrypt is well over 500 items and some things are marked INTERRUPTED and the box locked up a few hours ago (no picture, no response to remote, no response to telnet etc), coincidentally around the time...- zekepliskin

Fixdisk looping when repairing LBA 0
Yep Amazon tend to be excellent with getting it right, or correctly sorting it out when it isn't. 99% of what I order is one day delivery via Prime as promised and they've only messed one of my orders up in a decade.- zekepliskin

Has he been made aware of this, or if not is there a process for notifying him? I know a lot of developers use github for this sort of reason... you can just create a New Issue and go from there. Nice easy process, does he use one for [rs]?- zekepliskin

Yep that was my experience too, when the Humax grabbed updated EPG data it sorted the errors out. I wonder if it's a problem with the Freeview scheduling or rs/webif versions of it only. If/when it happens with something I want to record next time I'm gonna cross reference with Radio Times...- zekepliskin

That is an awful lot of errors isn't it? Not something I'd expect from a drive that young unless it had been stored badly/exposed to extreme temperatures or similar. That many bad blocks and sector remaps suggests hardware faults with the drive itself - last time I saw something like that it...- zekepliskin

The only BBC ONE error I've seen recently is that yesterday Six Nations Wales v England wasn't on the list despite Radio Times showing it as 4:15pm program start this Saturday and no sign on it on the EPG, but an EPG refresh today has corrected that.- zekepliskin
