     HD live picture break up now HD mux is on offset channel

     Personally I rarely watch/record HD programmes because we live opposite woodland and the HD channels seem the most affected by any interference. It has been better since the aerial was moved to a pole that is just above the tree line. The source of your problems could be outside the Humax! Are...

     Playback of Ad-Detected recordings intermittently stops

     It is not a symptom that I have seen reported before, I am assuming you are using the cropping so try turning that option off

     Yes my two occurences of the RTS background thread exiting correspond to the two recent occurences of the Setup wizzard running The setup wizzard is indirectly causing RTS to terminate by necessitating the auto schedule restore, this only causes a problem when there is no schedule to restore...

     Should I be looking for a new drive?

     I am still using my original hard disk that has suffered a few bad sectors over the years and it has outlived the original Humax. Only start to worry if the number of bad sectors increases rapidly

     AFAIK No other folder level setting automatically propagates down to sub folders, for Sweeper you have to explicitly specify if a rule is the apply to files in sub-folders. For other setting such as auto-decrypt we have the Recursive flavours for use if desired. For consistency with the rest...

      I've never found TVDB to be reliable enough to use - you might have a subfolder for each seaeson in which case specifying the season speciifc TVDB info might improve the matching and you wouldn't want automatic propagation.

      Neither, it is a diagnostics routine, go to diagnostics page, select it an Run Diagnostics package. Can also be run from a command line diag fix-flash-packages NB the name is not fix_flash

      Yes I am seeing the same problem The U& channel names appear in the popup list of channels - the problem comes when you try to save the modify rules. I suspect the problem is caused by the "&" in the channel names Unfortunately @af123 is the only person with the ability to update the RS server...

      I have a dead, no sign of life when switched on, HDR FOX T2 with no disc installed available for parts or repair attempts Available for free collection from SO53 (near Southampton)
