Run this substituting %1 and %2 for the appropriate file names. If they include spaces put the whole name in quotes.
ffmpeg -i %1.ts -target pal-dvd -vcodec copy -acodec copy %2.mpeg
This simply extracts the mpeg stream...
I have had similar problems.
The most recent I wrongly attributed to virtual-disk but I have now discovered that occasionally the TS wrapper gets corrupted when the program is recorded which doesn't bother the T2 but upsets some other players such as VLC as well as Raydon's AV2HDR. FFPROBE...
Reverting to virtual-disk 1.1 made no difference, so I deduce that the problem has nothing to do with either version of virtual-disk.
The recording in question plays on the T2 but is not viewable as a stream using the built in DLNA server. Downloaded as a TS file by copying using the remote it...
Webif shows a decrypt option, as it does on all other recorded programs on the HDR. I have successfully copied dozens of videos to my NAS box using the copy by remote.
I have just tried it again with a real USB flash drive plugged in and it makes no difference. If this code was borrowed from...
I uninstalled virtual-disk then installed virtual-disk2 and removed the real USB drive. Everything works fine except now video copied to a virtual usb on my NAS box using the remote appears to still be encrypted.
Any ideas?
Our local satellite dish installer in Malaga thinks that IPTV is probably the only alternative if you have the bandwidth. We have been advised that even Sky subscribers will loose the free to air UK channels but have not been able to substantiate this.
We have a FoxT2-HDR in the UK and a...
For anyone thinking of using Freesat in Southern Europe be aware that UK channels are moving to a more tightly focused satellite: Astra 2F, which doesn't have the coverage of Astra 1N. The Channel 5 set have already gone and the rest may follow early next year.

Stranger and stranger.
After a rebuild and lots of testing it would appear that AV2HDR-T2v1.0 is OK with files from the FoxSat but AV2HDRv1_6 for FoxSat and HDTVtoMPEG2 have a problem with TS files from the T2 but not with TS or MPG files from other sources. The problem with T2 TS files only...
A security update to MS Windows Media Encoder Series 9 is looking like the cause. Uninstalling it has made no difference so I will do a rebuild omitting it and see if that makes any difference.
I have a HDR Fox-T2 and a Fox Sat HDR and have been using both versions of AV2HDR to successfully swap recordings between the two. Files that successfully translated last week from the T2 now produce TS files unacceptable to the Fox Sat. (Note these are recordings that did work and now don't...
I have now had Network-Shares-Automount (NSA) 1.3 and WeIf 0.9.2 running for a week: No hanging, no re-boots - it all just works. I have a small Crucial Gizmo plugged into the front USB port where it is barely noticeable just to keep the shares active. I have 3 shares mapped to my D-Link 323...
When I removed 1.2 I deleted the [ModSettings] folder as well. I checked that in USB Storage that the shares had gone. Today I installed 1.3 and left it for a couple of hours then went into [ModSettings] to recreate my shares. Much to my surprise they were all already there and working. How did...
My rebooting problem appears to have gone: I installed Firmware 1.17 and attempted to install the Automount package 1.1 but couldn't get it to work so set up a simple share using Telnet. One instance of rebooting some 6 hours later occurred. I removed my share and installed Automount 1.2 and all...
I agree with most of this.
Having shares in the main "My Videos" directory does compromise background processes.
I don't like the concept of "special directories" in the "user space". If it can't be done through Webif would it be possible to have a simple template script for the parameters...
Correct, with out a real USB device plugged in only "Hard Disk" & "Network" are selectable. I have had to uninstall 1.2 as the HDR was becoming increasingly unstable with other "services" going down the share.
What does DLNA indexing do as I suspect this is causing me some grief?
No I don't have unencrypt just auto-unprotect installed. I thought it might have something to do with the new DLNA indexing. If that is going down one of my shares to index 4k+ of MP3 files then it is probably not a good thing!
@Drutt: Personally I think having the shares appear in My Videos...
