     Thanks thus far. I have BBC i Player and 5OD on both my Sony TV and Blu Ray Player so it's only 4OD and ITV player I'm missing. Given that the occasions when I might need ITV Player and 4OD are going to be limited (like when we forgot to record Broadchurch) I guess You View is probably going...

     I'm looking to upgrade my old 9200 and am not sure whether to go for the HDR-FOX T2/1TB-G or the DTR-T1010/1TB. I quite like the idea of having ITV Player and 4OD but other than that are there any advantages to opting for the You View rather than the Fox? If anyone has a simple summary of...

     Thnaks Luke. I am running a Windows 7 64 bit pc. I'm not hugely technically minded but can follow instructions well provided they're clear. I must admit a GUI front ends appeal rather than command lines so Media Controller looks like it might do the job. I'm not too worried about...

     I need to free up some space on the hard drive by transferring some recordings that I would like to keep to my PC. I believe there is a Humax programme for this but that there might also be some better programmes written to do the job. Can someone point me in the direction of the best...

      9200 started freezing

      Not sure if it's the early signs of my 9200 packing up but every time I turn it on and it's been on a for a few minutes it freezes and wont respond to any remote commands or the controls on the front of the box including the on/off button. In the end you have to turn it off and back on again...

      Glad you're here. You helped me with what were probably very basic issues but which for those of us who are more technologically challenged makes a big difference. What a shame hummy.org ended the way it did.

      Confirming channels on the Mendip Transmitter

      Just did a manual reset on my 9200. I receive from the Mendip Transmitter. Tuned to channels 54, 56, 59, 61, 62 and 67. From some old notes I had originally kept from posting on good old hummy.org, the orginal post switchover channels were all of the above except channel 67. However without...
