Hi Folks
I recently started using my two HD Fox T2s with Foxlink to playback the content on one of my HDRs that I'm using as a 'media server'.
I noticed that every now and then the display on the HD Fox goes into what I would describe as 'flickering', i.e. the whole display is flickering, for...
Presumably the same bug is what is affecting any manual event timers created during this week?
Same problem also applies to the WebIf on my Foxsat HDRs.
Yes - channel icons updated when I did it yesterday and it now says "No packages are available for upgrade. Try updating the package list from the Internet using the button above. " after a refresh.
Thanks both. Looks as though Pick (& Pick+1) are not in the 'Default Authority Database'. Hoping someone knows how to update it.
Does 'David500' ring any bells Trev?
Hi Folks
I tried to set up a recording on Pick using the WebIF and got "No default authority data available for this channel. Unable to set the recording"
Setting the recording from the Humax EPG worked OK.
Any ideas please?
I believe the all the channels available on Freesat are the same as the Sky ones just a different EPG. In fact, when I chucked Sky out I just plugged in my Foxsat HDRs with no change to the dish at all.
Please find attached a table which shows the frequency block and polarity for most of the Freesat channels.
Two of my Foxsat HDRs have only one LNB input and a short link cable from 'LNB1 OUT' to 'LNB2 IN'. This allows me to record two channels providing they are both in the same frequency...
Does this mean you've achieved the magical 1GB per minute?
Although Filezilla is slower it is more convenient as it allows me to queue several transfers into different folders on the backup drive/transfer drive which, as it is attached to the PC rather than the T2, can be NTFS or whatever. The...
Are you using an NTFS formatted external USB drive? If so, then I presume you have the NTFS-3G package installed which allows the Fox T2 to write to NTFS drives. I found that this does slow down the rate at which the Fox T2 writes to external USB drives. As I record only SD then the file...
EXPORT to USB from the T2 usually gives about 1GB per minute. Note that these are DECRYPTED recordings so no processing is taking place.
Just tested transfer of 4 films totalling 6.8GB exported to a powered 500GB FAT32 USB drive - 5m 36s.
Using Filezilla this would take 9-10 minutes (rough...
I use Filezilla to download, and upload, recordings to and from my HDR Fox T2s via my homenetwork which is all wired (4 ports on the router each with an 8-port switch). I always put the recorder on either channel 100 or 250 to minimise what they're doing whilst I'm transferring files. I...
