My T2 (running custom FW) is frequently suffering from 4-5 second video and audio dropouts during playback. If I skip back and replay the segment there is no problem. This happens multiple times pretty much every day.
The Humax is connected to the TV (an LG 65" C2) via HDMI.

As a matter of interest, how are you getting on with the Aura? My Fox T2 still has its annoying little glitches so I've been thinking about an Aura for a while.
Well...whatever fixdisk may have found/fixed, the problem has not gone away - another couple of 3-4 second blackouts during playback in the last day :0(

/mnt/hd3 only contains maintenance.boot.log, which doesn't contain the fixdisk output.
The other locations listed don't appear to have it either. Maybe it's not persisted??
I left fixdisk running last night (it had got to 12% without errors when I left it), but I don't seem to be able to locate any log output for it. Any ideas??
We've started getting brief "blackouts" while playing back recordings on our new LG OLED65C224LA TV. The screen goes blank (black) and audio stops for 3-4 seconds during playback of recordings before resuming. If we rewind the section of the recording it plays back fine. The Humax is connected...
Yes those other symptoms are very familiar (frozen video, sound continuing). I'd say we power cycle the Humax at least 3-4 times a week for that sort of thing.
It's an intermittent problem (hasn't happened for 2 days now), so I suspect that changing video formats may not be an appropriate solution.
I also get the sound dropouts. Every time something like this happens I have another look at the Aura reviews.....

I have a new LG OLED65C24LA TV. It's been working fine with the Humax until now. At lunchtime I was prompted to download a software update for the TV, which I did. I then restarted the TV. No problem.
A few hours later my wife was watching live TV through the Humax when the picture went blank...
I'd like to run dvrontime on a machine that doesn't need to run 24/7. Obviously it would need to be "awake" to access the UI, but will it wake the host machine from sleep mode to make scheduled recordings?
Has anyone managed to use the HDHomeRun app (Windows or Anroid) over a VPN? I have tried both OpenVPN and Windows Server VPN and the HDHomeRun device cannot be detected by the HDHomeRun client app. The IP address of the HDHomeRun is visible, and I can watch TV by pasting the relevant URL into...
So this morning I retried the download (by pasting the URL into the youtube-dl UI)....and it completed in a few minutes.
Maybe the overnight system restart cleared some sort of problem, but it looks like I'm now back in business.
