Detect ads series folders
Hi all. Just setup my Hdr Fox t2 from scratch with custom firmware and 2tb drive. Everything is great apart from detect ads which is working but if I record a series it does not add the bookmarks to that series. It is working in the root folder ok as far as I can see. Reserved space problem after changing to 2TB drive
Loads easier as I did not have to setup detect adds, auto unprotect, static ip, DNLA name, fan package, redring, samba, undelete with settings and the one I love but hate setting up is network shares automount. I use network shares automount to my Qnap nas all the time and this is how I saved...- Brid

Reserved space problem after changing to 2TB drive
In the end I re-cloned from the failing 1tb to the new 2tb drive again using Ease US Partition Master 13.5 and also resized the partitioned with it. Thanks to member /df above I used the commands he kindly provided in maintenace mode to perform an online resize (or I think that is what it said)...- Brid

Reserved space problem after changing to 2TB drive
I have Mini Tool professional 9.1 and although you can clone and resize in 1 go on ntfs and others it did not like EXT3. I used EaseUS partition master 13.5 technician edition which cloned no problem but no resize at the same time- Brid

I love my Humax but I'm no expert at setting it up again with connecting it to my nas as it does now and cutting out the adverts etc and just can't face the thought of...- Brid

Sorry for the late reply, busy changing all card details as my ID has been stolen :(. Could you send some instructions of how to output a diagnostic as I have never done one of those. The partition was definatly extended it's just the humax has the reserved space at the same amount but like I...- Brid

HI Derek I extended the partition by taking the hard drive out of the humax, conected it to my laptop and extended the ext3 partition with partion master 13.5- Brid

HI All Could someone help with this? I have a Fox T2 with a bad 1TB drive. It still worked so I cloned it to a 2TB drive of the same seagate generation, extended the partion that holds the recordings from 1Tb to 2TB or whatever the maximum was and fitted the drive back. Difference between the hdr fox t2 versions
OK thanks both of you. I was just wondering if the vertical sockets one had a better processor or was faster , but I can see that is not the case- Brid

Difference between the hdr fox t2 versions
Hi there. I know there are two different versions of the hdr-fox t2 units as one has the rf inputs in a vertical position and the same model sometimes has the rf sockets in the horizonal position. Does anyone know what other differences there are? Does one of them have a better CPU or more RAM...- Brid

Happy New Year! I have a Samba question. When I copy HD recordings using Samba from my hdrfox t2 I can load them into X Media Recode software to convert them to mp4 or anything for that matter but the converted file does not play. If I do them same with a non HD recording it will not even load...- Brid
