     Cheers 4291, strange that it works on the HD-Fox and not the HDR-Fox. Thanks again, I'll try the ok approach later when I get home!

     Give it a go, certainly creates an entry in the schedule list but doesn't work!

     Thanks guys, I will try that when I get home! The funny thing is, the Receiver appears to set the timer correctly and if you press the yellow button it is listed. The funny part is that it is never picked up. Possible bug perhaps?

     Hi folks, I have a problem with my HDR-Fox T2 where if I am in the guide and hit record from there to add a schedule an entry will be added to the schedule list but it will never get picked up and nothing records. If I simply hit the record button while watching a tv programme it will record...

     Novice question

     Turning off the powersave option does indeed allow the rf out to function properly while the unit is in standby! Thanks for the help folks!!

     EPG not working on WebIF

     Hi folks, Is the epg.dat only used for the Web-If? If the Web-If can successfully store EPG data from multiple regions/countries could the EPG on the receiver be made to look at this epg.dat file also to successfully populate the EPG screen?

     Custom firmware and Ireland Saorview

     Good point, the problem is multiple regions then.. The funny thing is that I have a PCTV 290e T2 stick connected to my Vu Duo and the EPG data loads and remains in memory for both regions. I know it is a totally different setup but it proves that it is possible I suppose.

      Hi pyroboy, I have the same issue as yourself in that I can pick up the FreeView from NI and SaorView from Ireland here but the EPG doesn't load up for both. Did you ever come across a solution for this? Cheers, Mac

      Novice question

      I noticed the same issue with the RF Pass-through not working if my HDR-Fox T2 was in standby. I haven't tried turning off the Power Saving option but I will do this and report back if it is working then. Thanks for the hint!

      Perfect, all clear now :) Would you know if the HD-Fox T2 can record onto the HDD of the HDR-Fox T2? I also seen a clip on YouTube just now of some lad in Dublin with SaorView EPG populated so reckon the issue might be it is not being broadcasted from where I'm picking it up from in Longford...

      Perfect, thanks Ezra Pound.. So does the Deycrpt option remove the need for Foxy altogether or is it still needed for HD when copying to USB? As HD content takes up a lot of space I would like to take whatever recordings I'd like to keep and convert them into avi's on the pc and to do this...

      @4291 I am picking up the channels fine and yes they are stuck away up in the 800's.. I have created a favourite group and ordered them in the way I like. The problem with this query is that when I browse the EPG the channel listings for the SaorView do not appear when the FreeView channels...

      As I said, I very quickly tested this the other evening when I set up the HDR-Fox T2 and it seemed fine. The NAS is a Synology DS212j if anyone is curious. I will give it a better test over the weekend and ensure that it consistantly works well. I also have an older Iomega NAS and I might try...

      Thanks Matt, I was reading something about ffwd/rwnd issues on another post but I was able to do this fine with with avi's on my NAS (Very quick test so perhaps this might develop bugs..). If it was even able to play the recordings then it would be a plus although to hook into the HDR-Fox T2...
