I was under the impression that this facility has to be installed from the Packages , so I am at a loss to understand why I am getting crop.ts files in my recordings (as well as .ts files), as I have not installed this, any idea what is happening?

Hi, I am trying to link my two HDR Fox-T2 units via Foxlink, and although I have downloaded and installed Foxlink on both units and followed the instructions in the Wiki, I still do not see the units as virtual files in the media folder of either unit. What am I doing wrong please.

No I was unable to get the HDD fixed using the fsck utility, so as I said earlier decided to transfer important recordings off the disk, format the disk and replaced it in the FOX T2, reformat it therein as required by the box, and going forward.

Yes thank you for this explanation, it is essentially a kill operation intervention, an it is likely due to there being insufficient swap .
I have tried to look into the swapfile but it is read-only, therefore I am unable to increase it, if indeed it can be, I used the cmd dd if=dev/zero...
Having taken out the HDD and looked at it on my linux laptop, I decided to use fsck utility to troubleshoot and possibly fix the disk. The fsck /dev/sdx command is forced to stop with the error message fsck.ext3 for device /dev/sdx has exited with signal 9. This in indicative of a process forced...
