I have two old HUmax Freeview PVR's that I owned from new, purchased from Humax Direct, but are no longer used.
Both PVR's power up but I cannot guarantee how well, if at all, they are working.
I believe The Fox T2 has the 500GB HDD but it might be 1TB HDD.
I can't remember what size HDD is...
I have a 1TB HDR FoxT2 which is becoming increasingly noisy which I think is the hard drive rather than the fan. I am getting concerned therefore that it might be on its way out.
Options I am considering are
Replacing the HDD in the FoxT2. Is this easy to do and what HDD should I be looking...
Bit disappointed with the 'extras' available through the portal unless I'm missing stuff or there is a way of adding to it.
I just have BBC iPlayer, Youtube, Picasa, Flickr, Wiki TV and internet radio.
Am I short of anything?
David
I'm looking to upgrade my old 9200 and am not sure whether to go for the HDR-FOX T2/1TB-G or the DTR-T1010/1TB.
I quite like the idea of having ITV Player and 4OD but other than that are there any advantages to opting for the You View rather than the Fox?
If anyone has a simple summary of...
I need to free up some space on the hard drive by transferring some recordings that I would like to keep to my PC.
I believe there is a Humax programme for this but that there might also be some better programmes written to do the job.
Can someone point me in the direction of the best...
Not sure if it's the early signs of my 9200 packing up but every time I turn it on and it's been on a for a few minutes it freezes and wont respond to any remote commands or the controls on the front of the box including the on/off button.
In the end you have to turn it off and back on again...
I'm very grateful for this new forum but just want to acknowledge the passing of hummy.org and to thank Martin Liddle for all his endeavours and help.
Is Martin a member of this new forum?
And whatever did happen to hummy.org?
Dave
Just did a manual reset on my 9200. I receive from the Mendip Transmitter.
Tuned to channels 54, 56, 59, 61, 62 and 67.
From some old notes I had originally kept from posting on good old hummy.org, the orginal post switchover channels were all of the above except channel 67.
However without...
