HDR disconnecting from TV when changing channels
I have tried cold reboot; unplugged it for 30 mins, didn't fix it. However I have just done a Factory Reset and it seems to have cured the problem. It now changes from SD to HD and vice versa smoothly. Thanks to everyone for your help and advice.- cliffg

Hi Trev, No I haven't done anything to it at all. Normally when I want to connect the HDR I have to select HDMI on my Sony Bravia TV. It takes about 20 secs to connect. The TV seems to go through a process of checking the resolution which it displays on the screen. Then it connects to the HDR...- cliffg

My Foxsat HDR is 17 months old and has been Ok until a couple of days ago. When I change to a different channel it appears to drop the connection to the TV and then reconnect which takes about 15-20 secs. I have changed the HDMI cable for a new one but it made no difference. Has anyone got an...- cliffg

Pixelation and freezing on playback
Thanks for the reply Graham. I suspected the HDD but as I've only had the HDR for 6 months and not done much recording until the Olympics I thought it might be something else. I Googled the problem and someone else has had something similar. He did a factory restore and it seems to have solved...- cliffg

Pixelation and freezing on playback
I've had the Foxsat HDR 320gb for 6 months and it has been playing back recordings normally. However since the s/w update for the recording of the BBC Olympic channels, when I playback some recordings (not all) the picture is pixelated, freezes, jumps, then after a couple of minutes it plays...- cliffg

itv player unable to locate content
Rang Freesat this afternoon. They said it is back up now but you have to disconnect the Humax from the mains then reconnect and reboot. It seems to be working OK now. Thanks for all your replies.- cliffg

I haven't been able to get itvplayer to play anything for about a week now. It starts up ok and I am able to select a program but when I press OK to play the program it displays 'starting program' for about 30 secs and then comes up with a message 'The service was unable to locate the content...- cliffg
