via webif or remote scheduling
with Remote Scheduling it will still show the Schedule Reboot button while it is waiting to be processed, no need to schedule a reboot if you have RTS enabled
It shouldn't prompt with webif if you have RTS enabled but it will fall back to the older queued...
One bad block in a frequently used file like queue.db can slow down the entire system, now that it is isolated in the renamed file normal service should be resumed though a full fix-disk run can't do any harm and may find some issues lurking
And if they have been disabled
"Your Humax crashed. Some important packages have been disabled, run diag fix-flash-packages to restore full function"
Crash.log doesn't actually tell you what has been disabled or how to restore full function,
42 Humax crashed at Mon Oct 21 12:00:08 UTC 2019...
Not all copy/paste sytems let you see what the contents of the clipboard are but I think that most of those that do give you some control over what is pasted
For example the multiquote feature on these forums allows you to select which quotes are pasted and the order of pasting

Are you saying you have an installed package called reset?
AFAIK there is no official package of that name! I wonder where it came from
From a putty/webshell command line try (and report results)
opkg list reset
opkg list-installed
opkg info reset
Do you have any messages shown in webif-error.log (on Diag page)?
A truncated package list is more likely to be due to a problem displaying the list than actual package removal.
Is the list still truncated on both Installed and Available tabs? and after clicking on 'Check for Updates'

Talking the disk out of the Humax is trivial - no skill needed other than a simple screwdriver!
To connect disk to a PC is also simple but you would need to purchase a Hard disk caddy or cables o connect it to the PC's USB sockets
You would then to decrypt the recordings (if not already...
A lot more detail of symptom is needed?
EXACTLY what are you seeing
I you can install CF then it is not totally dead?
Does it boot up with the disk disconnected?
my thought would be to download and upload a file from/to a remote server
You can install the curl package (if it isn't already installed) it supports both download and upload (-F option)
I think the command reports the speed
We also have wget for download but don't have the corresponding...
Either way we mortals have no access to the server to make any changes,
Only @af123 has access and he has been much less active over the past few years.
@prpr and @/df can now maintain the webif but not the server code or databases
RS rules are stored in the server and not on the humax itself.
AFAIK there is no way to copy a complete set of rules from one machine to another
What you could do is, for each rule in turn, Use the Edit Rule Text button on the right side of the rue, Copy the rule text and paste it into the...
The 'Show ,ts info' option of sidecar provides a much shorter and more useful view of the media details (including title and synopsis) than browse does for the no hmt case
versus
Would it be be possible to consider using this sidecar view in browse instead when there is no hmt, of course...
That is very interesting, and would explain the OPs symptoms - the period between the recording being moved and it being reDLNA indexed.
But I cant really understand why the DLNA status should have an affect unless there is a bug in the Webif
The normal webif display uses the .hmt file contents...
It says so in the OP and where else would a normal non-expert go to look at recording details
I can recreate the symptoms exactly by deleting the .hmt file and looking at recording in webif.
Not normal for it to be shown in the webif display
Is the .hmt file for the recording present? If not try recreating it using the sidecar files webif option
