  Renzz I owe you a beer. Went onto the vlc site and downloaded version 3.00.0 and it found the UPnP and loaded up the Humax folder, hasnt quite got the contents yet but you are obviously right, its a bug in the program. Many thanks indeed. PS I still think W10 is c--p

  In a rash moment I upgraded to windows 10 and now I cant get vlc media player to recognise UPnP and the humax on the network, windows media player recognises it but its not possible to download items via wmp so I need vlc (or some other player to work) Any thoughts anyone?   Same here Rob, recycle bin just stopped working, similar log to yours above. The box did crash a day or so ago so that may have been why it's stopped working.

  I'm just running the std package with undelete and ir remote, auto decrypt and sys monitor. Are you running the latest version of all the packages. Do update from the web in webif, it found quite a few updates so it may have been an out of date package, so far after the update it's working ok.

  I have the customised firmware installed and after a few days the recycle bin stops working, the only way to restore it is to remove the recycle module and reload it. It's happened several times. Deleting files now just deletes the file . Anyone else noticed anything?

They are temperamental and I usually have to turn everything off and leave it for a min, then turn it all back on and it works. Also check that you have put the correct router password in...

Same here Rob, recycle bin just stopped working, similar log to yours above. The box did crash a day or so ago so that may have been why it's stopped working.
