     Constant reboot, not enough time to get into menus (HDR-Fox T2)

     Thanks Black Hole will step through and see how far I get. Ezra Pound - it's not networked at the moment at all, so I'll only hook it up to our hub via Ethernet if I can access it remotely. It's a total pain - first problem we've ever had with it.

Yes, as suspected it was the router, and the brilliant people at Zen (our flawless ISP), found it was a setting in the router (an old, but very, stable Speedtouch 546) which was intercepting all web traffic, disabled in the Config pages - and instantly iPlayer now works on the Humax and...

     iPlayer not working under new firmware 1.03.12 - SOLVED

     Hmmm, definitely not working here. I wonder if they've changed some port settings or something in iPlayer or the update which our router is blocking and wasn't required before? All working fine under Windows and OS X, but not on the Humax... Will investigate further... Odd that the other apps...

     We only use BBC iPlayer occasionally on our HDR-Fox T2, but tried last night and it appears dead... The TV Portal loads fine, internet connection all working (YouTube, Wiki etc all load with content). But iPlayer loads showing "cannot display programme information", all the navigation buttons...

     That's exactly what happened, totally unresponsive standby. Flashed the firmware on the drive too as suggested. I guess a better approach would be for me to put a custom firmware on the Humax so it can read and write NTFS, but always been a little apprehensive about that, so this is a working...

      We bought a WD My Passport 1TB drive for extra storage. Oowered on the Humax, plugged it in, formatted it from the Menus (no option for format type so I assumed it reformatted to EXT3 as copies worked fine after reformat). Copied a load of recordings to it over a couple of hours, all fine...
