I mainly use RS for setting timers and deleting watched files but I noticed today my files queued for deletion were not being deleted. I had a look in rs.log and there is a problem:
2127 05/06/2023 12:20:24 - *Delete '/EastEnders/EastEnders_20230529_1929.ts'
2126 05/06/2023 12:20:23 -...
Well that seems to have solved my issue of the series timers not updating.
One of my boxes is "exclusively" HD, ie it currently only records stuff from BBC 4 HD and has an overnight wakeup timer on BBC One HD for the EPG update. On this box, the series timers have not updated properly since...
I'm seeing the same thing, and it seems to have been happening since the start of the New Year. It generally sorts itself out, but I had one instance (Top of the Pops on BBC4) which didn't and I had to delete the series and add it again.
It's almost as if the new entries in the EPG have a flag...
Do you have any plans to support devices other than the Homerun? Perhaps support for BDA drivers generally, which would cover working with most PCI/USB tuners on Windows. Or even support for SatIP which seems a standard way of accessing tuners over the network.
This has the potential to be the...
Ok, I tried something I should really have done before posting here - I deleted all cookies for rs.hpkg.tv - and it fixed it 😡
I still wonder if the changes made to cookie handling were relevant and whether @af123 had made any changes lately to cater for it? Otherwise, I guess I should just put...
For years I've managed two HDRs using RS, switching between them by selecting the relevant one from the Device drop-down. Over the past few days, I've found I can no longer do this - with Humax1 displayed, selecting Humax2 from the drop-down causes the browser window to refresh, but it just...
What about trying the boot-settings package which allows you to manually configure the Lip Sync setting - https://hummy.tv/forum/threads/boot-settings-apply-settings-during-boot.7678/. Although this seems to have a slider from 0 to 100, it does seem that you can manually type in a negative...
Thanks af, that seems to have fixed the example I gave for Eastenders, but it's still not working for the Top of the Pops '1984' search which I originally had the problem with.
I have an auto search:
When you run it, it finds just one programme:
However, in that time range there are two...
There seems to be an issue when setting a time range on a Standard RS rule, resulting in it not finding everything you would expect. I first noticed it when I had a rule to search for the text '1984' on June 3rd between 00:10 and 03:00. There are two top-of-the pops related programs on BBC4 HD...
I've finally decided to give Detectads a go (not sure why I've not done so before really), and I've read through the comprehensive, if slightly overwhelming, wiki and a large part of this thread, but I have one question that I can't find an answer to.
If I use chaserun AND want to chaseplay a...
What about using Syncthing (https://syncthing.net/) to do the donkey-work of actually synchronising the files? It's basically an open source peer-to-peer app using Bittorrent tech to get remote systems syncing data. Essentially, you create a folder on your box and add it to Syncthing which...
Same here. The EPG reappears if I set "EPG Favourites Group" to "None" on the RS website settings, or doing an EPG search returns stuff, but otherwise scheduled recordings (and Visual) are blank.
I haven't been on this forum for a few weeks so I wasn't aware this development had been going on. So I'm still running with this new feature turned off, but I have just noticed a problem with the usually rock-solid RS, which I'm guessing is as a result of changes in RS to accommodate this...
Could I make another feature request? At the moment hovering over a program in the grid just gives it's name and start/end time - could we also have the program synopsis in the pop-up as well? Perhaps make it optional, but it's nice when looking over the EPG to be able to see details of what's...
