There is no known way of stopping recordings being encrypted but there are lots of ways of persuading the HDR-FOX T2 to decrypt them for you. You want to start reading up about the custom firmware see http://wiki.hummy.tv/wiki/Custom_Firmware_Overview

The situation is different for the FOXSAT; I believe there is a patch to the FOXSAT Custom Firmware to prevent encryption on recordings.

Thanks - I actually meant is there an "everything you should know about the Foxsat-HDR" article? (I trawled through all 16 pages of the Foxsat-HDR forum and didn't see anything there)
